YBS 2016 Post Show Review

It’s been a week since we opened the doors for the Yorkshire Brick Show 2016 so I thought it would be a good time to reflect on the show, and thank everyone that came for making it such a great show.

Overall, we had over 3500 visitors over the two day show, and we thank you for taking part in our various activities, from the Minecraft build zone to the Giant LEGO bricks, as well as engaging our exhibitors and asking them about their models. We hope that you are truly inspired to build impressive creations with LEGO bricks.

Another fantastic year, and another fine job done by all involved in the show. Thank you to all of the public that attended, and made the show a success, and thanks to the Exhibitors, Museum staff, Helpers, Volunteers, Traders and the Bricks Magazine team, without whom we wouldn’t have been able put on this event.

Bricks4kidz Live LEGO Workshops

During our bumper weekend, as well as all of the fantastic LEGO displays, build zones and marketplace, Bricks 4 Kidz will be supporting the event by providing building workshops for children, and adults, at the Yorkshire Brick Show. The children will be guided through the process of building motorised models based around Fair Ground Rides or shown how to create a mini Lego Earthquake model.

Introducing Fairy Bricks

Fairy BricksFormed by three friends, Julie, Kevin, and Martyn who have a love and passion for all things LEGO, Fairy Bricks has had a tremendous impact in hundreds of sick children’s lives.

Fairy Bricks volunteers attend LEGO events around the UK and the rest of the world to raise money which allows them to buy LEGO at a discount, and donate them to Children’s Wards at hospitals and hospices local to the events that they attended.
