We’d like to thank everyone who attended BlockCon Sheffield on Sunday 25th February, over 1000 of you in all. We hope you enjoyed the models that were out on display. There were lots of new builders featuring in the show, and they really appreciated your feedback during the day.
We’re pleased to announce that tickets are now available for The Yorkshire Brick Show 2018, which will be held on the 6th and 7th of May 2018, at our new venue of Thornes Park Athletics Stadium in Wakefield.
For the first time ever, we’re holding a public build competition, and you can bring YOUR OWN CREATIONS along to the show to display alongside our master builders’ models. What’s more, we’ll be picking our TOP 3 favourite models to win a fab LEGO set each.
The challenge is simple. We want you to help us expand our micro-scale city with one of your own 16×16 stud Micropolis Modules. Starting with a 16×16 base, built to the “Micropolis Standard“, we want you to come up with your very own city building, park, construction site… The list goes on.
BlockCon is returning to Sheffield for a second year and will feature LEGO® models from talented Adult and Teenage Fans of LEGO® from around the country. It will be hosted by Stackable Events and the Sheffield LEGO User Group on the 25th February 2018 at Ecclesfield Sports Centre in North Sheffield.
We aim to bring you a great LEGO® shopping experience, with handpicked, leading independent LEGO® retailers, giving you a chance to buy those collectable sets and minifigures you’ve been looking for, and providing pocket money treats for the children, as well as giving you a chance to pick up original and collectable items that you would be unable to find anywhere else.
Finish your Summer holidays off with a bit of fun at our LEGO® Builders’ Club from August 29th until September 2nd 2017.
Bring the kids to one of our sessions from 10am or 2pm each day and let them loose with thousands of LEGO® bricks. In each workshop, we’ll be challenging your child’s creativity with build challenges, or they can spend the time doing their own thing in our Brick Pit.
The Block Con LEGO Fan Convention will be returning to the UK City of Culture this August, following a successful year in Hull last year.
Coming to the City’s fabulous Guildhall on Sunday the 27th August, the event promises to be full of exciting new LEGO models created by some of the UK’s finest LEGO builders.
You might have noticed a few changes around here. Most notably, all ticket sales for Stackable Events and bookings will now be driven through this site, rather than through the event micro-sites.
The reason for the change is to make sure that booking our events and services is as easy as possible, without creating multiple user accounts across different sites.
We hope you had a fantastic time with us this year at the Yorkshire Brick show, and we want to thank you for once again making the show a success.
Over 2000 LEGO fans joined us on the 30th of April and 1st of May to celebrate the plastic fantastic, and we had 50 AFOLS (Adult Fans of LEGO) displaying their impressive creations with LEGO Bricks.
