…and we’re done!

Another fantastic year, and another fine job done by all involved in the show. Thank you to all of the public that attended, and made the show a success, and thanks to the Exhibitors, Museum staff, Helpers, Volunteers, Traders and the Bricks Magazine team, without whom we wouldn’t have been able put on this event.

Over the three days, we had almost 3000 people through the doors to see our Exhibitor’s fantastic LEGO creations, and helped to raise around £10k in charitable donations for Fairy Bricks and the National Coal Mining Museum for England. More on that in the weeks to come.

We also saw the completion of two world record attempts by Brickshire member, Andy Wood (photographed), which we’re eager to find out the results of in the next couple of months. Watch this space! We’ll be back again next year, and as always, your feedback over the weekend has been appreciated, and will help us to make the show better again. We’ll announce the winners of the Fairy Bricks raffle soon, and Kev, the Hairy Fairy, will be in touch with the winners in order to get their prizes to them.

In the meantime, if you took any fantastic pictures over the weekend, please feel free to add them to our Flickr group at, tag the Yorkshire Brick Show into your Facebook photos, or tag @YorksBrickShow on Twitter!
